People need some natural resources to stay alive. They use others to make their lives better. We have to conserve our natural resources since many of them are limited.
Conserve and protect our natural resources:
1. 3R’s – Cut down on what you throw away. Reduce, reuse, and recycle to conserve natural resources.

2. Conserve water – The less water you use, the less runoff and wastewater that eventually end up in the ocean.

3. Conserve energy – Turning off the light when you leave the room, unplugging appliances when they’re not in use.

4. Volunteer – Volunteer for cleanups in your community.

5. Educate – When you further your own education, you can help others understand the importance and value of our natural resources.

Natural resources are used to make food, fuel and raw materials for the production of goods. All of the food that people eat comes from plants or animals. Natural resources such as coal, natural gas and oil provide heat, light and power.
